Death of the Duke of Edinburgh

The Civic Memorial Service for the Duke of Edinburgh will be held on Friday 16th April at 6.00pm.   The service will also be live streamed  here

We are open for worship on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.  We still have a full risk assessment in place which can be read here and we are confident that we provide a covid secure environment for our congregations.  There will be some members of our congregations who, for very understandable reasons, don’t feel that the time is right to join in public worship.    Self-care remains very important and you are none the less a part of our church family because of such a decision.    A form of service for prayers at home is to be found here

Streamed Services:We will continue with a  service  on line every week  via Facebook and/or YouTube

Prayer Locker has a weekly Sunday slot  on Facebook.

You will find the booklet containing each Sunday's readings and collects on the Publications page of this website.

Please remember those whom we are supporting throughout the year and continue to bring in donations for the Grub Tub,

  • Welcome to Bolton Parish Church - the Parish Church of St Peter Bolton-le-Moors.   We are a Church of England parish within the Diocese of Manchester. Bolton Parish Church is the civic church of Bolton, rooted in the Anglican choral tradition, and is known throughout the town as “the Parish Church”.

There has been a Christian place of worship on this site for 1200 years - and we are proud to continue this heritage of Anglican witness in the heart of the town. Our mission statement is Worshipping God: Loving one another: Serving our town and in living out this mission, we welcome everyone who comes to us.
